Leach Signs $11 Million Deal

Vonta Leach, the All Pro fullback, has signed an $11 million deal for three years with Baltimore Ravens. The Houston Texans team wanted to re-sign this leading rusher of the NFL 2010 season for Arian Foster. But with the need for a backup to Ray Price, Baltimore ravens had to sign Vonta leach to get their combination right for the upcoming season. The deal was also finalized in wake of expected lose of unrestricted free agent Mc Clain. Now that Vonta has got into the line up of the Ravens camp, the expectations on performance of the team are very high among the fans as well as the management for the forthcoming NFL season.
The Ravens coach John harbaugh was quick to reveal that they were looking at the prospect of signing Leach quite early in the offseason. The management was of the view that inclusion of Vonta Leach into the Ravens lineup will definitely boost their chances of making a big impact in the 2011-12 NFL season. According to the chief coach, Vonta’s type of physical play and offensive style will best suit the Ravens team. They are making all attempts to bring him as quickly as possible into the Ravens camp so that he can gel with the teammates before the season commences. The coaching staffs of the Ravens team are very much delighted with the signing of Leach into the Ravens fold as this will help them to conquer new frontiers with this enthusiastic team.
The person who was responsible in bringing Vanto Leach into the Baltimore Ravens team is General Manager Ozzie Newsome. He said that the management decided to choose Leach as they felt that he was best suited with Ravens style of play. With the addition of leach, Newsome feels that the running game of the ravens will be top notch for the up coming season. There is no doubt about his physical ability and total dedication to the game of football. The first to report this new signing of the Ravens was the Houston Chronicle and this was later confirmed by agent Ralph Vitolo. Later, the Ravens officially announced about signing Leach into the Baltimore Ravens fold for three years by paying a price of $ 11 million. Leach has been playing for the past five seasons for Houston Texans. He wanted to test his credibility in the market especially after becoming a Pro Bowl in 2010 season.
