Recently the free agent linebacker from the Miami Dolphins was in the news for its burgeoning relationship with the New York Jets. Taylor who is a six time Pro Bowl pick in the talks with the New York Jets for becoming a member of the team. He met with the New York jets for two consecutive days, but unfortunately the purpose behind the meeting has not been materialized yet. The inclusion of a new member in the team is a strategy of Rex Ryan, who is the coach of the team.
Calvin Pace, the linebacker from the New York Jets said that he is quite hopeful about the inclusion of Taylor in the team. He is also quite excited about this matter and looking forward for a positive outcome.
Taylor, who is at the age of 35, was accompanied by his wife, Katina. After two days of meeting he went back to his home along with his wife, which is in Weston Fla. Bruce Speight, the spokesman for New York Jets said that Taylor will give his decision within this week about signing the deal with New York Jets. On the other hand, Taylor??s agent Gary Wichard has indirectly hinted that the deal in not going to materialize before Wednesday of the coming week.
Beside career, Taylor has also proved his skills in the glamour world as well. In the year 2008, he participated in the ??Dancing with the Stars? show, and finished as the runner-up in the same. Even though he is very famous as a player, he has always shared a controversial relationship with Jet fans. In his 13 year old career, he always looked down upon the fans of Jet, and termed them as classless.
However, Shaun Ellis, one of the members of the team, welcomed the news of inclusion of Taylor in the team, and said that even the fans would accept him in the team.
